Gameplay

 

Before Starting:

Gather your teammates: Teaming up is crucial for success. Each squad consists of four players. Cooperating with squadmates greatly increases your chances of survival and mission completion.

Choose Your Class and Loadout: Players can select different classes and gear combinations. Each class has unique abilities. Choosing the right gear and class combination will help your squad better handle various challenges.

Pay Attention to Mission Objectives: Each level has specific objectives. Keep track of mission progress and ensure your team's actions align with the objectives.

 

Game Tips

Mission Objectives First: Always complete your primary objectives.

Observe, Then Act: Recklessness leads to disaster. Assess the situation carefully before engaging the enemy.

Help Your Squadmates: Revive downed teammates quickly. Some classes can provide crucial support with Med Kits and Ammo Packs.

Stay Vigilant: Enemies can appear from anywhere. Constantly scan your surroundings to avoid ambushes.

 

How to Download

Black Hawk Down requires approximately 35GB of storage space. Please ensure sufficient space is available before downloading.

Story Overview

 

Black Hawk Down unfolds across seven challenging chapters, each unlocking as you complete the previous mission. Warning: The following may contain spoilers. Proceed with caution or skip to the next section.

 

 

Chapter 1 - Irene: Push into the city, eliminate hostile forces at the landing point, then breach the meeting site and detain all of Aidid's advisors. Once it's done, signal friendly rangers to join you, and hold off the militia until the extraction convoy arrives.

 

Chapter 2 - The Fuse: In the chaos of the urban environment, your priority is to evacuate the wounded. As the squad's point man, eliminate any threats that impede the convoy's progress and ensure their safe passage to the main road.

 

Chapter 3 - Black Hawk Down: Disaster strikes as a friendly helicopter crashes. Your mission: race to the crash site, search for survivors, and provide emergency assistance.

 

Chapter 4 - Lost Convoy: The capture mission is on hold. Your new objective: escort a critical convoy through a hostile controlled area. Expect intense firefights at every turn.

 

Chapter 5 - Valor: Intel confirms another helicopter has been shot down. Two brave snipers are making a desperate stand to protect the survivors. Join the fight and provide 

 

Chapter 6 - N.S.D.Q.: As darkness falls, rescue convoys are moving in. Your mission: locate scattered soldiers and guide them back to safety.

 

Chapter 7 - Mogadishu Marathon: This is a silent death run. Follow the extraction convoy on foot through enemy-infested streets, fighting your way through blockades to reach the stadium.

Yes, you can play solo, but it's incredibly challenging. We strongly recommend playing with a full squad of 4 players for the optimal experience.

 

How is progress tracked when playing with squadmates?

All operators have Chapter 1 unlocked by default. When in a squad, available missions are determined by the captain's progress. After clearing a mission, all squad members unlock the next chapter.

 

For example: Player A has unlocked Chapters 1, 2, 3, and 4, while Player B has only unlocked Chapter 1. If they squad up with A as host and clear Chapter 4 together, A will have Chapter 1-4 cleared and Chapter 5 unlocked (but not played), while B will have Chapter 1, 4 cleared and Chapter 5 unlocked (but not played).

 

Does the Black Hawk Down Co-op Campaign support controllers?
